Please leave it to the Olsen twins to pull off oversized, slouchy, bordering-on-sloppy outfits on and off the red carpet. If you think about it, they’re the only ones who can get away with such exaggerated silhouettes.

Blame it on their pint-sized frames. After all, finding a perfectly fitted cashmere sweater for an XXS or a size 00 can be, more often than not, difficult. This brings us to the question: Ever wonder what their shoe sizes are? Can you guess?

The twins have different shoe sizes. Ashley is a size US5.5, while Mary Kate is a surprising US6.5.

However, you can hardly tell the difference from these pictures taken yesterday at a Lexus-sponsored event during day 1 of Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week. And speaking of their signature style, what do you think of their latest red carpet look?

Well, any thoughts? Are they chic, or should they have done better? Check out their choice of footwear, too. Did they pick the right heels to go with their outfits? Both are vintage-inspired and very reminiscent of another era. Do you like them?

On Mary Kate are lace-up cutout booties. We don’t know where she scored them, but they look interesting. We can’t say we love the pair, but they show some potential — provided you wear them with the right pieces.

Of course, if you’re too lazy to create the right mix, you’re better off with a more modern-looking style, such as the ones below.

As for Ashley, well, she had the better-looking shoes. Would you agree?

Ashley capped off her sweater-on-skirt look with d’Orsay pumps that feature ribbon-tie ankle straps. Had she worn a short-fitted LBD to go with the heels, she’d have nailed the look like a charm.
