The Indian film actress and singer signed a talent holding deal with ABC Studios in 2014. The Disney subsidiary agreed to develop a starring vehicle for Miss World 2000 or cast Chopra in an existing project set for fall in the following year.
Part of the network’s diversity push, ABC made similar deals with Scandal’s Kerry Washington, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, and Grey’s Anatomy’s Sandra Oh.

According to Forbes, Priyanka Chopra pulled in an estimated $3 million per season of Quantico. The show aired from September 27, 2015, to August 3, 2018, with 57 episodes broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) over three seasons.
Why was Quantico canceled?
ABC canceled the series in May 2018 due to poor ratings. According to Hollywood Reporter, the premiere of the third season opened to a lackluster 0.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and less than 3 million total viewers. In comparison, the first episode of season one was seen by over 7 million viewers.
What a milestone! Although Priyanka Chopra already had an impressive collection of trophies from her body of Bollywood work, the Indian actress was expecting her first year on the United States entertainment scene to be somewhat low key. Boy, was she in for a surprise.
