Julia Stiles' Chic and Modern Engagement Ring From Preston Cook

On January 5, 2016, Julia Stiles made an important announcement on her Instagram account.

The Jason Bourne actress shared a photo of her hands intertwined with her beau, Preston J. Cook’s hands, showing off a beautiful engagement ring on her finger. The picture was captioned “Best Christmas Ever!”

The couple met on the set of the poorly received thriller Blackway (also known as Go with Me), where Cook worked as a camera assistant. He has also worked on movies such as The Revenant, Deadpool, and Overboard.

Reportedly, he popped the question on Christmas Eve, kicking in the New Year right!

“We went on a big trip with his entire family over Christmas and New Year’s, so I kept saying to myself out loud, like every day, ‘Do not ruin a perfectly good vacation by getting your hopes up. Just get it out of your head,'” Stiles told Today’s Hoda and Kathie Lee about the romantic proposal.

The ring features a simple and modern style, with a round-cut solitaire diamond set on yellow gold.

In September 2017, they married in an intimate ceremony with two friends on a Seattle beach. At the time, she was pregnant with their first child. Julia gave birth to their son, Strummer Newcomb Cook, on October 20, 2017.
