Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are engaged!!!
Who’d have thought they would actually end up together?
Adam, who played as Seth Cohen on the hit series, ‘O.C.’, dated Rachel Bilson (a.k.a. Summer Roberts) for a while before they broke up. As for Leighton (known for her role as Blaire Waldorf on ‘Gossip Girl’), well, she never really had any long-term boyfriend we knew about until she hooked up with her current love. In any case, we think they look really good together. It’s like seeing Blaire with a geeky Seth – too cute for words, right?
The two have been keeping a very low profile this year, with only the occasional sightings here and there. They’ve even kept their appearances to a minimum.

In any case, we thought we’d dedicate this post to Leighton by featuring some of her best shoe moments. Leighton’s style isn’t as girly nor as prim as her alter ego’s, but it’s just as just as chic and fabulous.

2. Louis Vuitton “Varennes” Mary Jane Pumps
A risky LBD trimmed with fur was what Leighton wore to the amfAR Gala last year. She finished the look with a pair of black Mary Jane pumps (the “Varennes”) and a really cute chain-strap clutch. 3. Louis Vuitton Multi-Strap Pumps
Ever the Louis Vuitton fan, Leighton attended the Dior Spring/Summer 2012 show during Paris Fashion Week in a pair of multi-strap pumps from the label. She used the shoes to cap off a pristine white frock and she simply looked wonderful.

4. Jimmy Choo Glittery Mesh-Detailed Sandals
For the premiere of ‘That’s My Boy’, Leighton wore a sexy printed number and finished it with glittery mesh-detailed sandals from Jimmy Choo — the Liv. The shoes are already sold out, but you can easily check Nordstrom for similar styles from the label.
Also, the pair below from Shoe Republic is actually a great alternative if you want Leighton’s heels. It doesn’t come in black, but tan is just as classic.

5. Jerome C. Rousseau “Aizza” Leopard-Print Pumps
For the premiere of ‘The Oranges’, Leighton wore classic black and paired the frock with bold leopard-print pumps from Jerome C. Rousseau — the “Aizza”. The shoes are crafted from raffia and leather materials. To get the same effect, simply grab the pumps from Charles David instead.
