In October 2013, Indian beauty Freida Pinto led the Empire State Building lighting ceremony in New York to support Plan USA’s “Because I am a Girl” global campaign.
To celebrate UNICEF’s second annual International Day of the Girl Child, Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto attended the event, highlighting her commitment to advocating for the education of 66 million out-of-school girls.

Freida lit up the Empire State Building and the very ground she walked on (figuratively and literally) in a metallic, embossed Burberry Prorsum skirt.

Her green pencil skirt, which she styled with a three-quarters-sleeved white blouse and pointed metal-toe-capped heels with studs, was a mix of chic sophistication and dead-on business.

The embossed pencil skirt from Burberry Prorsum is stunning, but it can appear heavy, especially on those with shorter legs. It’s important to balance the rest of your outfit with such a statement piece, and Freida did just that by pairing it with an airy top and simple accessories.

We’re not very sold on her shoes, however, as the studs-and-suede combination seemed to isolate itself from the rest of the outfit.

This gorgeous metallic skirt is no longer available online.
