There haven’t been very many “ZOMG amazing!” celebrity shoe spots recently so Nicki Minaj‘s MAC Viva Glam campaign really saves this week from being a big ho-hum.
Not only is Nicki Minaj upping the excitement in terms of styling, hair and makeup, but her footwear for the entire campaign was also all apparently sponsored by one of our ultimate favorite shoe designers, Giuseppe Zanotti.
After making a stop a MAC store in New York and a slew of other promotional responsibilities the morning of the 15th, Nicki Minaj hit the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam Party at NYC’s Stage 37 later that evening. Nicki Minaj was decked out in a striped pink and blue dress and blazer set from the Nanette Lepore Spring 2012 collection. She paired her look with the Giuseppe Zanotti sandals which also feature the same two-tone cyan and cobalt blues as on her outfit.

Here’s a closer look at Nicki Minaj’s stunning sandals:
These Giuseppe Zanotti sandals showcase swirly two-tone suede straps and a cute suede-covered large square buckle accent on a 1 1/2″ platform and a 5 1/2″ stiletto heel:

These sandals are a hefty $1,150.00. Expensive but if you were to splurge on a pair of Giuseppe Zanottis, these might as well be IT.
We hope Giuseppe Zanotti makes these sandals in other colors because we’d like to see them in different two-tone combinations. Red and black perhaps? Or maybe even pink and purple so they’re really something Barbie Nicki Minaj would wear!
Tamara Ecclestone, the British socialite and television personality, wore the same pair with a multicolored dress to an event the following month. Let us know if you think she looked better in the sandals than Nicki Minaj:
