The short pop singer has made public appearances in some of the weirdest outfits we’ve seen our entire life (meat dress, anyone?), but often it’s the little things that make us the most curious — like the huge bruise visible on her thigh as she left her hotel room after the Met Gala.

Gaga was spotted in a leather jacket with a gray Saint Laurent tee and Levi’s cutoff denim shorts underneath.
The pop icon accessorized her look with black bags, a pair of checkered Saint Laurent sunglasses, and a pair of Alaïa platform patent boots.

Not only did Gaga have a mysterious bruise on her thigh, but she also stepped out wearing a long, dark wig.
While we’d love to come up with our own theories about what she was thinking of that morning, when it comes to Gaga, the sky’s the limit.
