Zendaya Coleman had a lot to celebrate in November 2016. Not only had she snagged a starring role in the Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, but she had also recently launched a highly successful line of footwear called Daya by Zendaya.

The Footwear News Achievement Awards acknowledged this accomplishment by awarding her the Launch of the Year for her collection.

The actress looked stunning on the carpet in a fitted black Michael Kors Spring 2017 dress with a low, plunging neckline. She also rocked a sophisticated new pixie cut, which we loved.

The then-20-year-old donned a pair of lace pumps from her award-winning collection. The “Annabelle” cap-toe suede pumps heightened the already-tall beauty by four inches.

Her love for heels was evident in all her recent high-heeled selections. At the event, she shared that this passion for shoes stemmed from her grandmother.
Despite her mother being self-conscious about wearing heels due to her height, Zendaya often played dress-up with her grandmother’s shoes, which fueled her passion for footwear from a young age.

The singer was clearly in good spirits at the event. She even posted a video of her “mood” on Instagram before the ceremony.
The “Annabelle” pumps are no longer available for purchase online.
