People say it’s lonely at the top. Model Joan Smalls recently seemed to get a taste of fame’s bitter pill as she spent a star-studded night at the British Fashion Council’s 2016 “Fashion Awards” in London. Did we mention she spent it all alone? Well, almost.
Joan arrived at the fashion year-ender’s red carpet looking stunning in a cropped see-through ensemble.

Joan showed off her toned physique — fresh from the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — in a sexy two-piece ensemble by Baja East. The look featured a see-through lace top with colorful arm embellishments, as well as a pair of matching garterized pants.
The model added a little sparkle to her look with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti “Harmony” sandals.

On her Snapchat, Joan joked that she was lonely as she panned her empty table with the caption, “No one wants to sit with us.” The model comedically sang lines from Bobby Vinton’s iconic song “Mr. Lonely” as she showed her barely occupied table.
