Vanessa Hudgens celebrated the opening of Weedmaps Museum Of Weed on Thursday evening in Los Angeles. The new museum takes visitors through the storied history of cannabis by moving through the many varied locations and time periods where it has typically – or stereotypically – been consumed.

“The story of cannabis is such a fascinating story to me. It’s mind-blowing to me how many people are incarcerated because of non-violent possession…It’s really important to educate yourself as well, and I think that this museum will kind of debunk this mysticism that’s been around it,” she told THR at the event.

The 30-year-old actress rocked Acler’s Suki pleated off-the-shoulder pleated bodice ($270 at Moda Operandi) with black wide-leg pants from the Claudia Li Pre-Fall 2019 Collection.

Accessorizing with a variety of rings and a necklace by Jacquie Aiche, one of Rihanna’s favorite jewelry designers, she completed her look with black satin ankle-strap sandals by Versace ($937 at Farfetch).
