The Girl Up #GirlHero Awards is an annual event that recognizes female personalities who make use of their voices to defend gender equality.
Among this year’s honorees was actress Kate Hudson, who has always been vocal about her “genderless” approach when parenting her kids.

The mom-of-three was hard to miss in a green satin Hellessy Resort 2020 gown as she stepped on the purple carpet at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
She also posed for a shot with fellow honorees Cara Delevingne and Jameela Jamil.

The color looked great on Kate, but the sheen seemed too much and the silhouette looked unflattering. It features a cleavage-baring low-cut neckline, on-trend puff sleeves, and a mermaid skirt that’s gathered with a knot at one side, creating a draping effect.
Her dress also has a flouncy asymmetric hemline that’s reminiscent of ‘60s clothing style.

The Bride Wars actress wore her mid-length blonde hair in waves and highlighted her eyes with cut crease eyeliner.

Kate teamed the vibrant number with Misho earrings and several rings by Marco Bicego and State Property. She carried a Jimmy Choo chainmail clutch (available for $975 at Farfetch) and boosted her height up a bit with Tamara Mellon heels.

These monochrome mule sandals feature a combination of white nappa leather and black elaphe leather materials that sit atop a 4-inch cone-shaped heel. You can get these Tamara Mellon ‘Shade’ sandals for $450 at Tamara Mellon.

Last month, the Fabletics founder also stepped out for the Michael Kors Collection Spring 2020 Runway Show in Brooklyn City, New York. The mom of three donned a full look from the designer’s Resort 2020 collection.
