As the year draws to a close, the beloved lingerie-inspired dress remains a red carpet staple, with celebrities eagerly seizing every opportunity to flaunt this daring trend one last time.

Jenna Dewan Tatum was one such celebrity. She accompanied her husband, Channing Tatum, to the premiere of The Hateful Eight in Hollywood, California, wearing a risqué corset-like gown.

As always, the Hollywood lovebirds looked stunning together, but we don’t really know how to feel about Jenna jumping on the lingerie-gown train.

It’s not that she can’t pull it off because clearly, the dancer has a body worth revealing, but we think she could have drawn just as much attention in a more modest (and less overdone) dress style.

Regardless, we have to talk about the dress because it is an indisputable show-stopper, and Dewan Tatum had all eyes on her at the premiere.
The Marchesa Spring 2016 Collection gown features sheer nude fabric with a lacy pattern, adding a shadow of detail throughout.

Jenna’s dress is lined with an intricate interplay of black sheer piping and beaded embellishments resembling a full-body corset. The sexiness continues at the neckline, with strappy cut-outs and bra-like outlines that leave little to be imagined.
The gown hugs the body snugly before spilling out in a mermaid tail of tulle and lace at the feet.

Mrs. Channing Tatum, 35, wore high-waisted black shorts visible through the sheer gown, adding even more emphasis to her feminine features.
Despite the dress being a bit out of character for the dancer, we still think she looked flawless. Jenna accessorized with a shiny sequined black clutch and chunky black ring and wore her hair in a curly and twisted updo.
What’s your opinion of her revealing gown? Do you wish she would have tried something less cliché, or are you all for her sexy style choice? Are you tired of seeing celebrities in lingerie dresses?
