Hillary Clinton introduced Perry, praising her spirit, energy, and compassion, which mirrored Hepburn’s dedication to UNICEF. Clinton highlighted Perry’s powerful voice and commitment to humanitarian causes, emphasizing how Perry’s influence and creativity inspire others.
Perry’s work with UNICEF helps provide food, safety, medical care, and education to children worldwide, supporting their rights and helping them survive and thrive. The event celebrated Perry’s contributions to these global efforts.
Aside from her prestigious award that night, the 32-year-old singer also won big with her dress choice for the event. She was dressed to impress in a beautiful Marchesa gown that elegantly showcased her assets.

The gold-tone dress showcased an intricate floral appliqué design on the bodice, with a delicate blend of flowers and snowflake-like details on sheer iridescent fabric, creating a whimsical and magical effect.

Pleats throughout the gown added graceful movement as Katy glided across the floor. She completed the look with stunning L’Dezen rose gold drop earrings and an elegant marble clutch.

Despite the gown’s intricate details, Katy effortlessly pulled off the look with grace. Her styling was impeccable, and her makeup perfectly complemented the ensemble, enhancing her natural beauty.

“Well he was a previous award recipient last year, so he knows it better than I,” Katy told ET about Orlando Bloom. “And he’s been a UNICEF ambassador for over 10 years and I’ve only been a few years so he’s kind of shown me some of the ropes.”
“Everyone is a teacher in a relationship, that’s how I see it now,” she added. “We’ve taught each other a lot.”
