Rihanna’s pre-awards show prep outfit consisted of a long grey sweatshirt dress punched up with sheer blue ankle socks and blue pointy pumps.

We’ve featured many sweater dresses here before, but this is the first time a sweatshirt dress has been featured. This surprised me because I love sweatshirt dresses. I’ve transformed old sweaters into stylish off-the-shoulder dresses by cutting the neckline. It’s an easy and enjoyable DIY fashion project.
Rihanna’s sweatshirt dress has a knot at the bottom hemline, which gives it a trendier and more feminine show-off-the-legs look. The blue socks and pumps are very feminine, too, but it’s not a look that many women can pull off.
I believe Rihanna IS pulling it off, but I’d like to know what you think — does Rihanna’s sweatshirt dress + pointy pumps look HOT or NOT? If you want the dress (like I do), here are a couple of cute shorter sweatshirt dresses I found:
