Sophie Turner is showing a more serious side of her style while promoting her upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, Steal, which premieres on January 21. I usually associate her with playful fashion—bright colors, interesting textures, and bold, sexy, or architectural silhouettes.

Even when she wears neutrals, there’s often something eye-catching about the cut or styling, so her recent press tour looks came as a bit of a surprise.

For this press run, Turner has chosen outfits that are noticeably more polished and pared back. Instead of making a statement through color or dramatic silhouettes, she’s been opting for outfits that feel almost corporate, with clean lines and a more professional tone.

In Steal, Turner plays Zara, an office worker at pension-fund investment firm Lochmill Capital. What starts as a typical workday is violently interrupted when robbers storm into the office and take employees hostage.

Zara and her friend Luke (Archie Madekwe) are forced to follow the criminals’ orders during the heist. But what begins as a simple robbery quickly turns darker, with the criminals targeting the pensions of ordinary people.

Seeing Sophie Turner step into more office-inspired looks made sense after all, given the role she’s promoting. Let’s take a closer look at her latest press looks.

Subtle Sparkle: Self-Portrait Set & Black Suede Studio “Shania” Mules

For her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sophie Turner wore something more polished and covered than her usual style. Instead of bold cutouts or dramatic silhouettes, she opted for a sleek Self-Portrait set that balanced subtle shine with clean lines.

Turner wore a $475 long-sleeved gunmetal top paired with a coordinating $555 midi pencil skirt, both made from a stretchy mesh fabric that hugged every inch of her curves. It had a flawless fit that accentuated her trim figure.

The top featured a simple boat neckline and a concealed side zip, keeping the overall look polished. It was slightly cropped, revealing just a hint of skin, while the skirt sat high on the waist and fell neatly below the knees, creating a classic, streamlined silhouette.

What really elevated the set was the rhinestone embellishment scattered across both pieces. It added depth and dimension, catching the light from every angle.

Outside the studio, Sophie layered on a tailored Fforme “Anouk” coat in chestnut mélange wool. The structured shoulders and extended lapels gave the look a strong, refined finish.

Minimal Accessories, Maximum Impact: Black Suede Studio “Shania” Mules

Since the outfit already had plenty of shine, Sophie kept her jewelry to a minimum. She skipped earrings and bracelets, finishing the look with just one cocktail ring.

Her makeup was beautifully done, with bold brows, smoky eyes, peachy blush, and glossy lips, while her blonde hair was styled in soft, loose waves, framing her face effortlessly.

For shoes, she skipped the predictable black pumps and chose Black Suede Studio “Shania” peep-toe mules. The almond-shaped peep toes and open backs gave the shoes a lighter feel, while the slim stiletto heels kept them elegant.

Her classic yet sexy shoes were an unexpected choice that made the whole look more interesting. You can get these Black Suede Studio pumps for $345 at Nordstrom.

Office Siren Mode: Self-Portrait Blazer Midi Dress & Classic Black Pumps

Earlier that same day, Sophie Turner arrived at SiriusXM channeling a modern-day office siren. She looked confident stepping out in an all-black outfit that felt professional, polished, and powerful, as if she were headed straight into an important meeting—and owning it.

Turner wore a black blazer-style midi dress from Self-Portrait, a popular design from the brand that even Kate Middleton owns in different colors. On Turner, the black wool-blend twill version felt powerful.

At first glance, it looked like a perfectly tailored two-piece skirt suit, but it was actually one seamless dress. I really liked how she gave the otherwise feminine silhouette a more commanding, business-ready feel.

The top half of the dress featured a blazer-inspired cut, a deep V-neckline, and an oversized contrast collar, adding a modern touch. Structured shoulders gave the look shape, while the front pockets and tonal buttons kept it clean and sharp.

From the waist down, the dress flowed into a pencil midi skirt that fell straight from the hips, keeping the overall look sleek and streamlined. This dress is available for $850 at Mytheresa.

Office Siren Details: Sharp Tailoring, Khaite Layers, and Classic Black Pumps

Turner leaned fully into the office aesthetic by keeping her accessories minimal. Instead of jewelry, she wore thin silver eyeglasses with rounded frames, which added a touch of personality. Her hair was styled in a neat side-parted bun, and her makeup was flawless, with soft blush paired with bold red lipstick that added a pop of color to the all-black look.

Outside the studio, Turner layered up in a black Khaite “Donna” double-breasted coat from the brand’s Fall 2025 collection. The oversized silhouette fell to her ankles and looked beautifully structured, with set-in sleeves, shoulder epaulettes, wide belted cuffs, and sharp front buttons.

She carried her essentials in a burgundy Khaite “Kye” cylindrical shoulder bag, which subtly echoed her lipstick. It’s available for $1,541 at Farfetch.

Classic black pointed-toe pumps finished the outfit perfectly. Predictable, maybe—but for a look this sharp, I thought they were the right choice. The pointy toes and slim heels kept the look clean and professional, matching the tailored lines of Sophie’s dress and coat.
