Margaret Qualley has been a Chanel ambassador since 2020, so seeing her front and center at the house’s Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 show wasn’t surprising.

She was easily one of the most striking presences at the show, leaning into Chanel’s classic black-and-white codes in a way that felt timeless but not boring. There was shimmer, but it was subtle, just enough to catch the light without looking flashy. Her shoe choice kept the look balanced and polished. Let’s take a closer look at her outfit.

Chanel Two-Tone Slingback Pumps: A Modern Take on a House Classic

Margaret Qualley arrived at the Chanel show embodying a fresh spin on classic Parisian glamour. The look felt effortlessly composed rather than attention-seeking, with every element working in harmony to create something timeless, polished, and distinctly her own.

Qualley chose a true Chanel classic for her shoes—the house’s two-toned black-and-white slingback pumps from the Métiers d’Art 2026 collection. I liked how they felt clean, elegant, and very Chanel!

The white leather upper kept things light and clean, while the black pointed cap toe added that signature Chanel contrast. They featured a half d’Orsay silhouette, with the inner side open and the outer side cut out, finished with a slim strap wrapping neatly around her heel.

They also had a low, softly scooped vamp that made the shoes feel elegant. Instead of the classic short block heel Chanel is known for, these pumps came with a mid-height, gently tapered heel. I loved how it modernized the shoe and complemented the sleekness of her dress.

A Custom Sequined Chanel Dress That Lets the Shoes Shine

Qualley skipped Chanel’s iconic tweeds and went for something more unexpected: a fully sequined black sheath made just for her.

The dress skimmed her curves beautifully, with a deep, plunging V-neckline that dipped to her sternum and an equally low back, giving the look a sensual edge that still felt refined.

The thick shoulder straps slightly extended past her shoulders, adding structure and balance to the daring neckline. I liked how it hugged her through the bodice and hips and then fell straight just below the knees. It was simple in silhouette, but the all-over sequins brought it to life!

Even with all the sparkle, the dress still felt elegant and very Chanel. The silhouette stayed simple and classic, letting the embellishment speak for itself.

Minimal Beauty Styling to Complement Chanel Footwear

Margaret kept her accessories and beauty just as simple. She wore her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail, which drew attention to her long black-and-white Chanel earrings from the Pre-Fall 2026 collection.

She skipped a necklace, which kept the attention on the plunging neckline, and added only a single ring. Her makeup stayed soft and fresh, with pink tones, defined eyeliner to bring out her blue eyes, a hint of blush, and rosy lips.
