Claire Foy was effortlessly chic at the London special screening of The Magic Faraway Tree at the Odeon Luxe, Leicester Square, balancing daring sophistication with a touch of masculine edge.
The British actress was joined by her co-stars Andrew Garfield and Nicola Coughlan, who both looked amazing in their green outfits. But it was Claire Foy’s look that stood out, bringing a fresh, modern vibe with her Acne Studios ensemble.

Claire Foy Elevates Her Look With Slouchy Leather Knee-High Boots
Claire Foy’s style was a bold mix of masculine and feminine elements, making her the embodiment of modern glamour. Her brown leather knee-high boots definitely stood out, with almond-shaped toes and stiletto heels that added height and sophistication.
But what truly elevated them was the slouchy shaft, which gave them a bit of a rugged, borrowed-from-the-boys vibe, balancing out the more delicate lace of her skirt.
They weren’t exactly the star of her outfit, but they certainly added that cool, edgy element, creating the perfect contrast to the softness of her dress.

Claire Foy Balances Lace and Tailoring in Acne Studios’ Spring 2026 Dress
Claire Foy paired the edgy boots with an Acne Studios Spring 2026 dress, priced at $1,250 at Net-a-Porter. The bodice was a sage-green cotton-silk blend shirt, lending a clean, sophisticated feel, but the see-through lace midi skirt below stole the show. With its delicate details and scalloped hem, the skirt balanced feminine charm with a modern, edgy twist.
The lace skirt, layered over her knee-high leather boots, created a cool contrast between the soft and structured elements of her outfit. Although the look appeared to be a two-piece, with the shirt seemingly tucked into the skirt, it was actually one piece, creating a playful touch to the design.
While the outfit as a whole was stunning, the Acne khaki blazer she paired it with slightly detracted from the dress’s overall design. The single-breasted suit jacket, priced at $1,150, was crafted from a soft wool blend and featured a chest welt pocket for added practicality.

Minimal Accessories and Tousled Waves Let Claire Foy’s Outfit Shine
Foy kept her accessories to a minimum, opting for a few rings and a pair of statement earrings. Her tousled bob, styled with a side part, perfectly complemented the laid-back but elegant vibe of her look. She then went for minimal makeup, letting her natural beauty shine through.
Claire’s look was daring, modern, and confident, and while it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I loved the risk she took with mixing masculinity and femininity. It felt fresh and fashion-forward, and Claire definitely owned it!

Nicola Coughlan Channels Fairy-Tale Glamour in Georges Hobeika Couture
Nicola Coughlan’s outfit at the screening was a perfect fit for her character, Silky, in The Magic Faraway Tree. She wore a dreamy mint-green dress from Georges Hobeika’s Spring 2026 collection, which made her look like a fairy straight out of a magical story.
The dress featured airy pleated layers that flowed gracefully, giving her an ethereal, otherworldly vibe. Its off-the-shoulder neckline was beautifully ruffled, with delicate embellished straps adding a soft touch.
Billowy, sheer long sleeves cinched at the wrists, while dangling embellishments at the bodice added texture and a bit of sparkle. The skirt then flowed effortlessly to the floor, enhancing the fairy-tale vibe.

Though her shoes were mostly hidden beneath the flowing layers, she completed the look with custom Jimmy Choo heels in a matching soft mint hue, designed with crystal-embellished ankle straps, pointed toes, and elegant V-shaped vamps.
It’s a shame they remained largely out of view, as the delicate sparkle and tonal coordination would have perfectly echoed the ethereal quality of her gown. She finished the look with pearl-and-diamond Tasaki jewelry, adding a refined, luminous touch.
