After weeks of mythology-inspired fashion across London, Paris, and New York, The Odyssey press tour reached its spectacular finale at the film’s New York premiere at AMC Lincoln Square on July 14.
Along the way, the cast delivered one of 2026’s strongest celebrity shoe stories, from Zendaya’s Christian Louboutin pumps, Lupita Nyong’o’s Chanel slingbacks, and Anne Hathaway’s Gianvito Rossi boots at the London photocall to the couture footwear showcased at the London premiere and the elegant designer heels worn on the Paris red carpet.

Anne Hathaway Wears Prada Crystal Sandals With a Custom Prada Gown
Anne Hathaway looked every bit the ethereal modern goddess in this custom Prada look. I honestly can’t find a single flaw with this look. Everything worked together so effortlessly, and even her shoes, though mostly hidden beneath the sweeping gown, added another layer of elegance.
She wore a pair of metallic silver Prada sandals designed with two slim satin straps across the toes that met at the center, creating delicate triangular cutouts along the sides. The straps were covered in rectangular baguette crystals, giving the shoes plenty of shimmer and texture.
The sandals also featured open toes, adjustable ankle straps with polished silver buckles, and tall, slender stiletto heels that elongated her silhouette.

Hathaway paired her silver crystal heels with a custom Prada gown that gracefully concealed her baby bump, making the look elegant yet comfy. The halter bodice easily stole the show, woven with shimmering silver crystals, which gave the dress a glamorous finish.
The design also featured a small triangular cutout at the center, adding just the right touch of allure without detracting from the gown’s soft, romantic feel. From the empire waist, the champagne silk skirt flowed into delicate floor-length pleats, giving the dress an airy, floating appearance.
To me, this is one of Anne Hathaway’s most stunning red carpet moments. She looked like a true Grecian goddess, especially with her Bulgari Serpenti earrings and matching Viper bracelet adding extra glamour and a luxurious finishing touch.

Yes, Aldo heels. It may not be the brand you expect to see on a major red carpet, but Nyong’o proved you don’t need expensive designer shoes to create a showstopping look. She wore the brand’s “Forevermore” sandals in metallic gold leather, bringing a sleek, understated finish to her glamorous outfit.
The sandals featured almond open toes with squared vamps that gave them a clean, modern look, while slim ankle straps wrapped around the back and fastened with polished gold-tone buckles for a secure fit.

Nyong’o paired her gold heels with a matching gold gown from Nicholas Oakwell Couture’s Spring/Summer 2026 Goddess collection. Inspired by Joan Collins in the 1960 epic film Esther and the King, the dress was crafted from embroidered gold floral lace, giving it rich texture and depth.
It featured a heavily structured, strapless corset bodice with sculpted bra cups and a drop waist that highlighted her figure. The sculpted hips added even more definition to her curves before opening into a dramatic floor-length skirt with soft front pleats and thigh-high side slits.
I loved everything about this look. The fit was impeccable, and the gold complemented her complexion beautifully.
Nyong’o didn’t stop with the gold gown. She completed the look with a striking Sabyasachi choker featuring 11.21 carats of raw Polki diamonds, a dangling tiger pendant, and five strands of pearls. Zendaya Wears Heel-Less Christian Louboutin Pumps With Matières Fécales Couture
Zendaya closed out The Odyssey promotional tour with her boldest look yet, making a dramatic entrance in an all-white ensemble by Matières Fécales and Christian Louboutin. Saving the best for last, she fully embraced a celestial, goddess-inspired aesthetic that instantly became one of the tour’s most unforgettable fashion moments.
Her shoes were another pair of Christian Louboutins, but this time, she skipped her signature “So Kate” pumps for something far more daring. She wore a pair from the Matières Fécales x Christian Louboutin collaboration, featuring a heel-less silhouette that reimagined the classic pointed pump.
The shoes featured sharp, pointed toes, low-cut vamps, and sculptural concave wedge soles that created the illusion she was balancing effortlessly on her toes.
While she’d been wearing white Louboutins or Louis Vuittons throughout the press tour, I appreciated that this pair offered something different. They added an avant-garde edge that perfectly matched her dramatic outfit.

Zendaya wore the Ange gown, the finale look from Matières Fécales’ debut couture collection. According to the fashion house, stylist Law Roach asked that the dress be reserved for Zendaya two years ago, and the timing of its red-carpet debut couldn’t have been better.
Zendaya looked every bit like a mythical goddess, although I have to admit the dramatic feathered wings made the look too costumey. Then again, Zendaya and Law Roach are no strangers to method dressing, so this look wasn’t surprising. While her character in The Odyssey, Athena, isn’t traditionally depicted with wings, some early archaic Greek pottery portrays the goddess with large bird wings, making this creative interpretation fitting.
The gown itself was just as captivating. A swirling pleated design flowed from the structured bodice to the floor-sweeping train. The strapless upper featured a sculpted plunging sweetheart neckline framed with soft feather trims, while twisted asymmetric draping cinched the waist before cascading into the skirt with distressed edges. It was finished with a thigh-high slit, showing off her long legs.
Zendaya finished the look with long Chopard drop earrings and wore her curly hair in loose goddess braids, letting the gown remain the centerpiece.

I also loved how well the shoes complemented her custom Dior outfit. Theron wore a single-breasted white blazer with tonal lapels and a daring plunging neckline, adding a bold touch to the tailored look. The waist was cinched with an oversized bow that balanced the structured silhouette with a softer detail, while cascading folds and draped panels along the hem added movement, making the blazer look more like a couture mini dress than a traditional suit.
Under the blazer, Theron wore a mini skirt with a scalloped hem that peeked out just enough to show off her long legs.
