Though the talented Hunger Games crew might have been tired from weeks of traveling and making appearances, they certainly didn’t show it at their ultimate Premiere in New York City on November 18th.
With Mockingjay Pt. 2 marking the close of the popular film series, starring actress Jennifer Lawrence led the way for the cast’s bold and stylish exit on the red carpet.
However, J-Law’s sheer gown and platinum bob couldn’t steal the spotlight for too long, as her co-stars evened out the attention with their equally showstopping looks.

The evening was filled with Gothic-inspired gowns of leather, straps, lace, and mesh, as well as a few memorable pops of color and sparkle.
The only thing sweet about saying goodbye to their red carpet appearances is remembering them looking this chic and badass. Here is an assortment of some of our favorite styles of the night:
1. Julianne Moore Shines in Emerald Green Chanel Couture
This continuously-successful actress won us over in a dazzling emerald Chanel two-piece that glittered elegantly on the red carpet.

With squared shoulders and angular accented layers, this look balanced the ultra-feminine sparkle of rhinestones and sequins with a businesslike modesty.

In contrast to her role as a power-hungry antagonist in the film, Julianne Moore looked classy and exuberant in her Chanel Couture dress.

2. Jena Malone Goes Gothic in Sheer Emanuel Ungaro
Perhaps Malone and J-Law conspired about their Gothic style and open-chested choices before the premiere.

Unlike Lawrence’s sheer sexiness, however, this Hollywood bombshell’s Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2016 gown managed to stay on the edgier side of the scale. The long skirt added a feminine flair that drew more attention to the nude and black fishnet pattern than Malone’s figure.

Pairing this with mesh long sleeves, a cut-out top accented with metal rings, and a strappy black ribbon was bold, but we think it was fitting and alluring for this spunky actress.

3. Natalie Dormer Rocks Edgy Leather in Roland Mouret
Rocking a quad-colored leather jacket and matching skirt, Dormer’s earthy-colored outfit looked stylish and impressively Hunger Games-appropriate.

Among her gown-clad castmates, Dormer proved to be an unforgettable addition to her Roland Mouret combo.
Under the multi-colored leather jacket, the blonde star donned a mesh high-collared black top that showed some skin, an appreciated change from her otherwise modest attire.

With pleated panels along her knee-grazing skirt, the outfit had the look of a uniform with a glamorous twist we could only expect from the charming and stunning Natalie Dormer. We love how the gold zippered ankle boots completed her shiny leather get-up.

4. Patina Miller Stuns in Floral Giambattista Valli Gown
This Tony Award-winning actress looked flirty and chic among her co-stars in a multi-layered, cinch-waisted Giambattista Valli gown.

The short and tight flowered dress hugged her figure well, and the sheer silk overlay added an air of elegance and mystery to her look.
We love the bright floral print of the dress and the modest neckline, but the real show stopper was the curtain of black fabric that split down the front to expose her toned legs.

We couldn’t find Miller’s exact fuchsia-flowered gown, but here’s the same look with neon green accents:
