Claire Danes stole the show at the 2016 Met Gala in a gorgeous Zac Posen gown. While the powder blue creation looked like any normal ball gown on the red carpet, it had a major twist when the lights went out.

Everyone’s jaw dropped when the Cinderella-esque gown lit up and glowed while the 37-year-old actress walked around the gala. The custom gown was equipped with fiber optic lights powered by thirty battery packs, all intricately sewn into the organza fabric, making the gown literally glow in the dark with a flip of a switch.
The ‘Homeland’ star was clearly a standout vision at the event, pairing the dress with a sleek bun, minimal jewelry and radiant skin. It looks like Claire nailed the gala’s “Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme! Everyone else was wearing edgy, robotic and metallic pieces but Claire was the only one who delivered a perfect mix of glamorous, futurustic fashion. This magical Zac Posen creation definitely won our hearts.
