You probably avoid white pants like the plague if you are anything like me. I find them quite intimidating and gratingly high maintenance. You need to wear the right underclothing and be conscious of how and where you are sitting. They also have to be kept pristine at all times, which is sometimes hard to do if you are the klutzy type like me.
But after seeing Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel don a white-on-white ensemble for an appearance at The Grove, I’ve been itching to wear something exactly like it.

The 24-year-old South African model was a vision to behold in her all-white ensemble, which she wore during a guest appearance on Extra last Tuesday to promote the spring campaign of Victoria’s Secret with Alessandra.

Candice kept it neat and simple with her white T by Alexander Wang “Illusion-Back” shirt, which she casually paired with white cropped pants and black sandals.

Can you blame me? It’s a look that screams “fresh”! Granted that she is a leggy supermodel who can probably make a flour sack look chic and fashionable, but this ensemble seems like something even I can pull off.

It has an effortless, no-brainer vibe—the kind of outfit that will make you secretly snicker behind your palms because you didn’t even spend hours standing in front of your mirror debating whether it looks right.
All you need is a simple white tee banded at the hem, just like Candice’s, and a pair of high-waist tapered white pants. Accessorize with ankle-strapped sandals and a pair of sunglasses. So easy but so chic!
