Mariska Hargitay finally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her role on ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,’ which has been running for over a decade.

In addition, she deserves the star for founding the Joyful Heart Foundation, a foundation against sexual abuse and domestic violence. What’s so special about her star is that it was placed right next to that of her mom, 1950s-era sex symbol Jayne Mansfield.

She looked very elegant here. It was not the first time we’d seen her wear the pumps. She was spotted wearing them at the NBC 2013 Fall Launch Party in September.
