One year post-surgery, Ariel revealed how she has been taking a stand against all her Instagram haters at Variety’s “Power of Young Hollywood” in Los Angeles.

Known for her often-revealing Instagram posts, she has received both criticism and praise for her outfit choices, with some accusing her of being too risqué and others applauding her for promoting positive body image.

However, the Modern Family star insists that she is not being strategic with her social media posts and enjoys sharing glimpses of her life with her fans.

“I’m just having fun,” she told ET’s Katie Krause. “I like my fans to see what I’m doing.”

Winter doesn’t engage with negative comments and encourages those who don’t like her content to unfollow her.

For Ariel, body positivity isn’t a statement — it’s simply living authentically. “Everybody is so hyped up on the fact that I post photos where my butt’s out. It’s a butt. Everyone has a butt,” she said with a shrug. Her message was clear: those who disapprove can simply scroll on.

Having grown up in the public eye, she credits strong female mentors like Modern Family co-star Sofia Vergara for inspiring her to embrace her curves and confidence. “Working with a curvy, beautiful woman that everybody looked up to — that was my inspiration to move forward and accept myself,” she shared.
