We can’t believe we almost missed this. Still, given the number of celebrities who flocked to the Cannes Film Festival in France last May, we’re giving ourselves an excuse for overlooking Bianca Balti’s embellished kimono. Of course, it’s always better late than never, so here goes.

She clearly wasn’t satisfied with her already-embellished super short red dress because she went all out on the add-ons — a standout necklace, catchy earrings, and on top of both, a very festive statement kimono decorated with a whole lot of baubles.
Talk about excess to the nth degree, right? Do you think she went overboard?
Perhaps. But if we were to take out the pieces and look at them individually, her kimono would be the most stunning and covet-worthy. The cover-up’s colorful print looks gorgeous. It’s like a Monet (painting) that you can stare at all day.
Even more fascinating are the stones scattered all over the garment and how they blend with the print. Can you imagine how fabulous the kimono would look with a white tank and denim cutoffs?
