Straight from Jason Wu’s SS23 runway, the sleeveless cocktail dress was ruched and ruffled, creating a striking red carpet moment.

Delicate straps held the dress aloft, defining Larson’s waist with seams and gathered detailing at the hips. The dress then spilled out into an undulating skirt, giving Larson a modern hourglass silhouette.

With its bold hue and neckline that accentuated her decolletage, there was little need for additional accessories.

Larson’s stylist, Samantha McMillen, kept it simple with minimal jewelry from Neil Lane and strappy metallic Stuart Weitzman heels. Bryce Scarlett styled her hair in a slick side-parted look, while make-up artist Nina Park gave her a natural-looking glow.

In March 2017, her co-stars from “Kong: Skull Island,” Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, shared how the infamous “Brie-kends” came to be.
Brie-kends is a term used to describe the close friendship between Brie Larson and her co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston.
The trio bonded during the filming of the movie and often spent their weekends together, taking trips and trying out new activities.
During the New York promotional leg of “Kong: Skull Island,” the successful actress arrived outside the AOL Building. This was just one of her many stops during the promotional tour.

Brie took a break from her usual classic or bold colors, opting for some pastels to welcome spring instead.
The actress wore a lavender multiple buckle-embellished Carven dress topped with an oversized pink trench coat.

So as not to keep things too girly, Brie accessorized her outfit with the black “Adriana” leather bag from Giuseppe Zanotti and a menswear-inspired pair of platform Tod’s loafers.
During a SiriusXM town hall about the film, Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, and Samuel L. Jackson talked with EW Radio host Julia Cunningham and shared some of their experiences filming “Kong: Skull Island.” Larson, in particular, brought on serious travel envy when she revealed the weekend trips she planned for her co-stars.
“I was able to get them to go go-karting with me, play laser tag, ride electric animals through a mall, close down Movie World, and even attend water puppet shows in Vietnam,” Larson said.

However, there was one event that Jackson and Hiddleston refused to attend. “The Dracula dinner show was where they drew the line. They told me, ‘Brie, you’ve crossed a line. You are not doing that,'” she recalled.
Larson also discussed her hectic travel schedule during filming, as she was recognized for her Oscar-winning turn in “Room” while filming overseas in Vietnam.
“It’s fine, I’ve used my frequent flyer miles,” she joked after Hiddleston praised her for making the trip back and forth. “I didn’t realize that the Oscars were international. In Vietnam, they were so excited about it before I even left. So I felt like it was my version of going to the Super Bowl. I felt so connected to everyone around me.”
