Lupita Nyong’o was the unrivaled queen of “The Jungle Book” premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Monday.
The 33-year-old actress was resplendent in a green knit top and a gold disc-embellished maxi skirt that perfectly embodied the movie’s vibrant and kid-friendly theme.

Employing the twirling skills she’s come to be known for, Lupita expertly showed off her gladiator-style skirt’s multiple slits with her every step and sway.

Imagine our surprise when we found out that her dazzling red carpet ensemble was from mass fashion retailer J.Crew.

Colorful Fred Leighton jewels, coral-tone makeup and nails, and Stuart Weitzman’s “Nudist” sandals helped elevate Lupita’s mixed high-end-with-low-end look.

Lupita’s skirt is already dazzling when she’s standing still, but it is something else entirely when she moves.

The skirt was supposedly inspired by car wash flaps, and based on the way the Mexican-Kenyan actress moves in the following photos, it’s easy to understand.

Lupita rounded out her look with the easily identifiable Stuart Weitzman “Nudist” sandals.

She shared an Instagram snap of her clothes and accessories from the premiere that also gave a closer look at the shimmery gold pair.
