Stepping into 2024 with the same charisma and glam that defines her, the 31-year-old wealthy rapper took the stage at Fontainebleau Miami Beach for a show-stopping performance on Sunday night as part of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the New Year’s Eve bash was spectacular, with celebrities taking over Miami Beach to usher in 2024.

Amid the electrifying festivities, Cardi B, freshly single after a speculated split from her husband Offset, commanded attention with her performance.
For her grand finale of 2023 and inaugural appearance in 2024, she unleashed her style prowess, donning a jaw-dropping black cut-out gown.
Paired with diamond-studded knee-high boots and accessorized with large diamond earrings and a matching necklace, Cardi B’s ensemble captivated the audience and solidified her status as a fashion icon.

And, of course, she couldn’t resist personally requesting a shot of Hennessy, encouraging everyone to join in the revelry.
In a heartwarming moment, Cardi B took a break from the spotlight to give a special shoutout to her daughter, Kulture, who proudly watched her mother’s performance from the stageside.

Health Concerns Before Her Performance
Before the celebrations, Cardi B took to her Instagram Stories to share details about a challenging health situation she was grappling with.
In a short clip, she expressed, “I’m fighting for my life right now. I’m literally fighting for my life right now. Like, I am so sick. And I don’t understand ’cause I was in New York going out with sweaters, toes out, everything. I was good. [As] soon as I land in Miami, bro… I be telling people. I am allergic to Miami. I’m allergic to Florida. I’m allergic to the state.”
Cardi went on to mention a “little cough” and how her “chest started getting tight” and reiterated, “Bro, I’ve been fighting for three days, and I have a huge performance later. Huge performance. Like, alright, I get that it’s New Year’s, but I have this huge performance, and I’m fighting, fighting.”
Cardi B’s Optical Illusion Revenge Dress
After her dazzling performance, Cardi B turned heads in a custom-made optical illusion dress by Syndical Chamber that hugged her curves.
This eye-tricking gown seamlessly combined two of the brand’s styles, the Abanico Gown and the Belt Illusion, creating a mesmerizing effect with hundreds of grunge-inspired belts.
The high neck, sharp cut-outs, and overlapping mismatched belt print added an edgy touch to the one-of-a-kind mesh dress adorned with fringe and beaded details.
Cardi B complemented her optical illusion revenge dress with black stiletto strappy heels and gothic diamond cross earrings.
Her back-to-brunette locks, styled by Tokyo Stylez, parted to one side and cascaded into voluminous, romantic curls. Her makeup, a masterpiece by celebrity makeup artist Erika La’ Pearl, featured skinny eyebrows and lashes.
