We half expected Carly Rae Jepsen to hop up on her toes and dance as she attended the premiere of the new animated film “Leap!” — a story about a young ballerina and her dreams. The singer voiced character “Odette,” who develops an important relationship with Fellicie, voiced by Elle Fanning.
It seems like Carly took major inspiration from her role in the movie for the premiere when it came time to pick her outfit. The 31-year-old singer rocked a Needle & Thread “Ditsy” floral dress (available at Net-A-Porter) in a soft, muted grey color that featured a romantic tulle skirt. She looked very sophisticated in this ensemble, and even though the frock was long and featured layers of fabric, it didn’t drown out her petite figure.
Carly kept her look fresh and youthful by finishing it up with a couple minor details. Her easy-breezy bob hairstyle was finished with a few sparkling hair pins and she carried a glittering clutch. Adorable.
