Call us crazy, but Sarah Jessica Parker will always be Carrie Bradshaw to us. A semi-autobiographical character created by Candace Bushnell, she played the protagonist of the HBO franchise Sex and the City.

And while it’s true that Carrie wasn’t always the best role model, her character was a very real representation of women struggling in the modern world.

So, we couldn’t help but get a bit nostalgic when SJP dressed the part one again at the New York Ballet Gala.

Not only that, the actress dressed up at the iconic Lincoln Center, where a very memorable scene for “Sex and the City” was filmed.
The actress was seen playing around in the fountain area, paying a mini tribute to the iconic SATC scene where Aleksandr Petrovsky asked Carrie to dance, and she comically fainted.
For the occasion, Sarah Jessica Parker wore a gorgeous dress by Zuhair Murad, whom she took to the event as her date.

She paired the frock with the “Taylor” shoes from her own footwear line, SJP Collection.

“Taylor” from the SJP Collection isn’t available online, but you can check out similar pairs in glitter fabric (coincidentally called “Carrie”) from Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe line at Amazon:
