It seems like Coachella’s bohemian days are now a thing of the past, judging by the lack of attendees sporting skirts, crocheted tops, flower crowns, and fringes at last weekend’s festival.
Coachella 2024 has instead seen a diverse range of outfits. Two fashion trends that stood out during the first weekend were sheer and black clothing. From Megan Fox to Lili Reinhart, see what celebrities wore to the 2024 Coachella.
1. Meghan Fox Debuts Blue Hair in Minimalist LBD
Forget about boho summer vibes or comfy streetwear. For this year’s Coachella, Megan Fox pulled out a pair of dressy heels and a classic little black dress that hugged every inch of her famous curves.
Even though I love a classic bohemian festival look, Megan Fox looked terrific in her more dressed-up outfit. I was surprised she was somewhat covered up, considering her daring and sexy signature style.
Megan opted for Alexander Wang’s bodycon LBD featuring a mock neck, short sleeves, and a thigh-high hem that showcased her toned, flawless legs. The label’s WANG logo was printed in white front and center for a touch of high-fashion branding. Interested? You can get it for $428 at Farfetch.

Megan cinched in her tiny waist with a thick black double-buckled belt with metal hardware, highlighting her slender physique. While I thought the belt was unnecessary, I like that it added a hint of edge to the look.
I love Megan’s outfit because it’s versatile and can be dressed up or down. She elevated it with a pair of clear, transparent heels from the American fashion designer.
The Alexander Wang “Silver Nudie” sandals have an open-toe style and are secured to the foot only by a clear PVC strap. I wonder how hard it must have been to walk in those and, on top of that, with 4-inch stiletto heels. Megan decided to ditch the jewelry in favor of tinted, colored lenses to protect her eyes from the scorching desert sun.
She wore nude pink lip gloss and silver nails, but what stood out to me was her long, icy blue mermaid hair, which complemented her black dress.
In an interview with People, she revealed having a blue bob and adding 26-inch acrylic blue extensions for the festival.
“We added the extensions in to give it more Coachella energy. I think I bleached it, and I destroyed it. So I might as well run through all the colors before I go brown.”

2. Lili Reinhart Looks Radiant in an Ivory Sheer Skirt
Often seen in feminine, floral dresses, it’s not surprising that Lili Reinhart chose this ivory sheer look from Colombian swimsuit and resort wear label Agua Bendita, well-known for its embroidered and whimsical motifs.
Although Lili’s look didn’t exactly scream bohemian, I liked her outfit’s subtle references to boho fashion. She wore the “Axel” top ($210 at Revolve) made from lightweight crochet knit fabric with an all-over crocheted floral design and its matching “Cyprus” maxi skirt ($243 at Revolve).
She left the buttons of her sheer top undone to showcase her cleavage and incredible physique, accentuated by her two-piece bikini swimsuit from Tularosa. The “Claudia” unpadded bikini top, $98 at Revolve, was cut from nylon and elastane and featured a front knot detail and rear s-hook clasp to keep it in place.

Lili stayed true to her Coachella look’s ivory theme by slipping her pedicured feet into strappy white open-toe sandals.
She kept her accessories to a minimum to let her elaborate monochromatic ensemble speak for itself. Still, I think she would have looked more festival-ready if she had accessorized with a fringe necklace, a flower crown, or ankle boots.
Lili Reinhart’s beauty never disappoints, and I’m glad that she seems to be doing better after sharing her alopecia diagnosis early this year “in the midst of a major depressive episode.”
Alopecia is the general term for hair loss, which, according to Mayo Clinic, affects the scalp or entire body. “It can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men.”
She wore her blonde hair in a messy bun, enhancing her innate beauty with pink lipstick, soft pink blush, and eyeliner.

3. Emma Roberts Brings Glamour to Coachella in a Little Black Dress
Like Megan Fox, Emma Roberts opted for a little black dress showcasing her slender pins. The thing is, she looked too polished for the occasion.
Megan’s LBD had a sporty vibe, whereas Emma’s appeared more formal due to its fabric, strong padded shoulders, and long sleeves. Although I think the outfit is beautiful and perfectly captures Emma’s love of classics with a modern twist, it seemed more fitting for a different event.
I appreciate how Emma styled the look with blue accessories that complemented her ensemble.

Combining style with practicality, Emma kept her festival essentials in the small “Ryan” tote bag by Alexander Wang, retailing for $395 at Farfetch.
It was made from a bleached medium blue cotton blend with a fine ribbed corduroy effect, a single flat top handle, and front logo lettering. I think the bag is cute, but I’m not particularly fond of the top drawstring fastening as it reminds me of a lunch bag.
Emma kept her accessories cohesive, slipping her red-pedicured feet into a pair of light blue open pointed-toe mules with comfy kitten heels. They’re an excellent match for her LBD, but I think knee-high cowboy boots would have been appropriate for a more festival vibe.

Her hairstyle at least gave off a boho-chic appeal. She parted her blonde tresses in the middle and styled them in double plaits.
Wearing black cat-eye specs to protect her eyes, Emma rounded out her understated yet elegant Coachella look with pink blush and lipstick.

4. Charli D’Amelio Bares All in Sheer Dress and Combat Boots
Charli D’Amelio brought her bold and playful style to the 2024 Coachella, opting for a summertime see-through dress that hugged every inch of her curves.
The $995 Aya Muse “Maxim” is a simple yet seductive tank-style slip dress cut from ultra-fine knit wool and baby alpaca. The low-cut scoop neckline further enhances the see-through fabric’s provocative element.
Charli was missing her bra underneath, with only her black underwear protecting her modesty.

While the butterfly appliques provide a whimsical element to the otherwise minimalist dress, Charli’s footwear choice—a chunky pair of combat boots—adds an edge to the look.
Charli wore the “Camdon” boots from her family’s eponymous footwear label, D’Amelio, proving she’s her best walking advertisement.
These leather combat boots have comfy oblique toes accented with permanent tonal chains, giving them a tough-chic aesthetic. They also have tubular nylon laces and an inside metal zip for easy on and off, and they’re finished with elevated platforms.

I like how Charli opted to accessorize her appearance with sharp nails adorned with rhinestones rather than wearing elaborate jewelry.
She wore a more understated glam look, sporting a black bob and delicate pink makeup.
