Charlize Theron is back on the press circuit promoting her upcoming superhero film, The Old Guard 2, a sequel to the first movie based on Greg Rucka’s comic book of the same name.

The Victoria Mahoney-helmed film follows Andy (Theron) as she navigates life after losing her immortality. Despite her new circumstances, she and her group of immortals decide to emerge from hiding to fight the first of the immortals threatening the world. The film is set to hit theaters on July 2.

Charlize Theron brought effortless elegance to the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen studios. I love that she chose head-to-toe Alexander McQueen, as the edgy aesthetic of the British fashion house perfectly suited the theme of the movie she was promoting.

Her footwear choice, in particular, added a touch of bold and edgy glamour to her summer look. They were fashionable and comfortable, crafted from premium smooth black calf leather. Their square, open-toe silhouette and four thick, functional buckled straps gave the shoes an eye-catching, cage-like design.

Theron paired her shoes with a black wool cashmere sweater, also by Alexander McQueen. The combination of the edgy cage design of her shoes with the laid-back feel of her sweater is a total show-stopper!

Theron’s sweater is anything but ordinary. It’s made of traditional black wool cashmere fabric, but the cobweb lace and ivory silk plissé creponne trims at the hem add texture and dimension to the otherwise classic sweater design.
