Chrissy Teigen‘s no-holds-barred personality is often reflected in her bold and daring red-carpet fashion choices. And Saturday was no different when she attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner with her husband, John Legend.
The 37-year-old socialite paraded her shapely legs in a sheer lilac ruffled gown from Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika’s Spring 2022 collection.
It had a billowing tulle bodice, a cleavage-baring plunging neckline, and a flattering crystal-embellished midsection designed to cinch her waist. The bottom part featured a softly pleated floor-sweeping skirt with a hip-high slit that gave onlookers a glimpse of her knickers.

These light-catching stilettos from the popular footwear brand are made from metallic silver-tone calf leather and feature dangling crystal embellishments around the ankles with tie fastenings and 4.7-inch high heels.

Giving the already dazzling look some additional sparkles, the mom-of-three carried a complementary crystal box clutch and donned a set of diamond jewelry.
She wore a pair of Mindi Mond New York 16.5ct Diamond 18K chandelier earrings and a selection of rings by Rahaminov Diamonds.
Beauty-wise, Chrissy went with her signature makeup look, highlighting her eyes with mascara and adding a sweep of heavy blush and a swipe of neutral-colored lipstick. She then styled her shoulder-length honey tresses down in loose waves with one side tucked behind her ear.

Representative Disses Chrissy Teigen’s Leg-Baring Gown
While there is no dress code for the White House, Representative George Santos did not hold back as he shared his thoughts on the red carpet outfits from the recent White House event.
“The racks at Kohl’s & Macy’s have to be empty after the amount of off the rack dresses I’ve seen so far from last night. “But before we dive into the rack gowns … What in the world was Chrissy Teigen wearing?”

Known to speak her mind, Teigen quoted Santos’ tweet and quickly hit back at New York’s 3rd Congressional District representative.
“I’m all for some good shit talking but this is a legitimately great dress,” she wrote along with a clip of her and Legend posing on the red carpet.

One came to her defense, saying, “Not only is that dress amazing and highlighting the right features but I’m guessing a lot of women at the WHCD do shop at kohl’s & Macy’s. Cause many of them are regular journalists; not celebrity invites or the small percentage of nationally syndicated news anchors.”
“It’s completely unsurprising that @Santos4Congress has no taste whatsoever,” another commented.
One commenter, on the other hand, compared the gown to “toilet paper stuck to a sparkly shoe.”
