Cardi B nailed it with her fetishistic and theatrical pearl-embellished clam-oyster dress from Mugler‘s Fall 1995 Couture Collection at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

She was joined by her husband Offset, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter with a net worth of $16 million. His real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus.

The 26-year-old rapper was nominated for five awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year. She performed her hit song “Money” on stage and took home the award for Best Rap Album for her album Invasion of Privacy.

Wearing a look straight out of Sandro Botticelli’s iconic The Birth of Venus painting, Cardi B was dressed like a pearl inside of an oyster. Simonetta Gianfelici wore the work of art down Mugler’s 1995 runway. You can see the original look around the 48-minute mark in the below video.
Her outfit was styled by her long-time collaborator Kollin Carter, a wardrobe stylist and personal shopper. She accessorized with Gismondi 1754 jewelry.
