Condola Rashad may be the luckiest girl ever this past week.
The 26-year-old actress and two-time Tony Award nominee celebrated the opening night of David Leveaux’s modern adaptation of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ on Broadway last September 19.

As Juliet, Rashad, a fantastic actress, wears white dresses throughout the play. While reviews of the Broadway adaptation were mixed, they all agreed that Rashad was brilliant.

Then, she shone some more as she stepped out for the after-party in a crystal-embellished dress.
It was a sweet, dignified look featuring a mesh overlay and a flared knee-length skirt. She celebrated with co-actor Orlando Bloom (who plays Romeo) and her mother, acclaimed actress Phylicia Rashad.

Rashad’s other projects include the made-for-television movie Steel Magnolias and several appearances in the hit TV series Smash.
