Honoring the biggest names in the music industry, the 2013 Billboard Music Awards was a night of recognition and astounding performances from some great artists.
It also turned out to be a night of glamour, as celebrities attended yesterday’s event in fabulous ensembles and paraded on the blue carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Most of the outfits were sexy and revealing. Selena Gomez, Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, Kesha, and more wore leg-baring dresses. Jennifer Morrison, Jennifer Lopez, and Kelly Rowland, on the other hand, took the opportunity to flash some cleavage. Who do you think was the best dressed?
1. Selena Gomez Shines in a Sexy Neon-Accented Atelier Versace Dress

She revealed quite a lot in this sexy number featuring illusion paneling in sheer mesh from the left collarbone down to the right hip as well as a thigh-high slit.

2. Taylor Swift Stuns in a Geometric Sequin Zuhair Murad Dress
Bagging a total of 11 awards, Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night. Although a long gown (just like what she wore last year) would have been perfect when receiving the awards, her Zuhair Murad dress was no less beautiful.

Her dress sparkled with geometrically patterned sequins to create an ultramodern, glamorous look.

3. Jennifer Lopez Turns Heads in a Gold Sequined Zuhair Murad Gown
Wherever she goes, Jennifer Lopez always tends to show off her curves. At the music awards, J.Lo oozed sex appeal on the blue carpet and stage.

She arrived in a cleavage-baring Zuhair Murad gown that looked like a winner’s outfit—Taylor Swift should’ve worn this instead. The gown featured gold sequins and a sheer bottom (with a falling feather design) that showcased the performer’s legs.

4. Kesha Boldly Sports a Hip-High Slit Givenchy Tunic
Kesha’s style is, well, unique. At least, that’s how good we can make it sound. Her outfit choices are undeniably one of a kind. This time around, she chose to wear a Givenchy tunic.

The front-view photos give the impression that she was wearing a simple LBD with a turtle neck and some ruffles. The side views, however, will make you exclaim, “Kesha has done it again!” That’s because each side reveals not a thigh-high but a hip-high slit! When she walked, you could almost see her behind!
On the runway, this Givenchy tunic was paired with a skirt. However, Kesha opted to do without the skirt to show even more skin.

5. Jennifer Morrison Rocks a Revealing Kristian Aadnevik Gown
Jennifer Morrison, star of Once Upon a Time, was one of the award presenters and one of the night’s biggest surprises. The 34-year-old rocked a revealing gown from Norwegian fashion designer Kristian Aadnevik’s Fall 2013 collection.
It’s like a lingerie corset ensemble with a laced bra-like design, an embroidered belly, and a long sheer skirt that exposed her high-waist underpants. Was it sexy or too revealing? Was it a good choice for the event?

6. Emmy Rossum Elegantly Glows in a Zuhair Murad Mermaid Dress
Emmy Rossum and Jason Derulo presented Taylor Swift with the Top Billboard 200 Album award. The 26-year-old actress/singer/songwriter was elegant in her black gown.

Unlike other celebrities who graced the blue carpet in revealing outfits, Emmy managed to work a high-glamour look.
Her keyhole-detailed mermaid dress showcased trendy see-through panels and polka-dot prints, adding a modern touch. The sheer sections elegantly revealed glimpses of skin, enhancing her sophisticated look.

7. Kelly Rowland Dazzles in a Sparkling Rami Al Ali Couture Gown
From afar, Kelly Rowland would seem dressed in a bubble wrap. Looking closer, her wraparound gown, which features a thigh-high slit, was embossed with sparkling silver paillettes.
It was so glitzy that she didn’t need to wear any other jewelry. She presented the Dance Artist of the Year award, alongside Austin Mahone, to Madonna.

8. Hayden Panettiere Keeps It Sophisticated in a Backless Halston Heritage Dress
Hayden Panettiere introduced Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and was fab and elegant in a black halter gown.
With its tiered bodice and simple straight skirt, her Halston Heritage number might seem a little boring to some. However, the backless design helped Hayden show a sexy, sophisticated look.

9. Chloë Grace Moretz Goes Edgy in a Color-Blocked Fendi Frock
Sixteen-year-old Chloë Grace Moretz hit the blue carpet to introduce Ed Sheeran. She was in a cute, edgy, and age-appropriate dress from Fendi’s Spring 2013 collection.
The dress is striking mainly due to the modern color-blocked geometric paneling. Chloë accessorized with a wide belt that was supposed to cinch the waist but seemingly failed.

10. Celine Dion Embraces Metallic Chic in an Atelier Versace Dress
Celine Dion embraced the metallic trend at the awards night. She presented the Artist of the Year award to Taylor Swift in an Atelier Versace dress that fell just below her knees.
This piece is simpler compared with what the other attendees wore, but the pop diva still stood out anyway.

11. Carly Rae Jepsen Excites in a Daring Dyanthe Mesh Dress
Carly Rae Jepsen, who received eight nominations and won Top Digital Song and Top Pop Song, wore a black mesh dress with strategically placed panels to cover her private parts. The “Call Me Maybe” singer looked exciting and edgy in it.

12. Nicki Minaj Surprises in a Sleek and Striking Red Gown
Nicki Minaj, who took home three awards (Top Rap Artist, Top Streaming Artist, and Top Rap Album) out of seven nominations, surprised everyone when she arrived at the blue carpet event in a stunning red gown.
Her bust was accentuated as expected, but this was still a simpler and fresher look than the rapper’s previous outfit choices.
