Diane Kruger and Elizabeth Olsen both stepped out in bow-adorned Givenchy pumps at the Givenchy Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2026–2027 show.

While the styles weren’t exactly the same, both pairs featured feminine bow details that gave the shoes a romantic, elegant touch.

It was interesting how the two stars styled their footwear in a completely different direction. Elizabeth Olsen leaned into power tailoring with a look that felt structured but still relaxed and modern.

Diane Kruger, on the other hand, went for something more sultry and feminine, letting the bow-accented pumps complement the outfit’s softer, glamorous feel.

Let’s take a closer look at their looks.

Elizabeth Olsen Softens Power Tailoring With Givenchy “Boudoir Bow” Mules

Elizabeth Olsen blended sharp tailoring with soft, feminine details for her front-row look at the Givenchy PFW show. On her feet, she wore the Givenchy “Boudoir Bow” mules from the Spring 2026 collection, featuring a large, asymmetrical bow across the front, giving the design a dramatic yet elegant feel—one side raised while the other remained lowered.

I loved the wrinkled leather texture, which made the shoes feel a little edgier and less traditionally delicate than usual bow-adorned heels. The crinkled finish added character, making the design feel more modern and fashion-forward. The mules also had open toes and an open back, making them easy to slip on and comfortable to wear, while the tall heels with a pyramid-shaped tip added height and a sophisticated touch.

I liked how the sandals added a soft, feminine touch to the rest of Elizabeth’s outfit, which had a more structured and edgy feel. She paired them with loose black leather joggers with elasticated ankle cuffs. The pants had a sporty, relaxed feel, but the leather material kept them looking polished and stylish.

Up top, she wore an oversized, cropped gray blazer with structured shoulders, notched lapels, and sleeves pushed up to her elbows. A single black button sat near the blazer’s hem, giving the tailored piece a modern twist. Underneath, she wore nothing but a black bra, fully embracing the shirtless blazer trend.

Olsen carried her front-row essentials in a black Givenchy “Pinch” bag, designed by creative director Sarah Burton. The structured leather bag featured gold hinge hardware that pinched the sides of its east-west shape. You can get this bag for $3,100 at Nordstrom.

She further accessorized with black sunglasses and a silver-and-black bangle for a hint of sparkle. To finish, Elizabeth wore her hair in loose waves and accentuated her features with rosy makeup and red lipstick, adding a pop of color.

Diane Kruger Turns Givenchy Bow Slingbacks Into a Sultry Leather Statement

Diane Kruger leaned fully into Givenchy’s bow design, centering her entire look on the French fashion house’s sculptural bow elements, which balanced femininity with a bit of edge.

On her feet, she wore black Givenchy pumps that instantly drew attention. The design featured a fixed, asymmetrical bow-like structure across the vamp that felt both dramatic and refined. The pointed toes sharpened the silhouette, while the delicate slingback strap and tall stiletto angled heels kept the overall look sleek and elegant.

Her outfit continued the bow theme with a black leather look from the Givenchy Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection. She wore a cropped top shaped like a bold bow across the chest, secured with thin spaghetti straps. One side of the bow lifted slightly while the other draped lower, giving the piece a sculptural feel that echoed her pumps’ design.

She paired it with a black leather midi skirt with a high waist and a wrap-style silhouette. A bow detail at the waist tied the theme together, while the side pocket added a relaxed touch.

Chunky earrings, a messy wet-look updo, the red Givenchy “Pinch” bag, and pink lipstick finished her stunning front-row look.

Givenchy’s Bow-Adorned Heels Show Two Distinct Styling Directions

Elizabeth Olsen and Diane Kruger proved that the same design language can inspire completely different fashion stories. Olsen balanced the sculptural drama of her Givenchy “Boudoir Bow” mules with relaxed leather joggers and a sharp blazer, while Kruger leaned fully into the romantic side of the trend, pairing her bow slingback pumps with a sculptural leather ensemble.

Their contrasting looks highlight the versatility of Givenchy’s modern footwear, where architectural details like asymmetrical bows can shift effortlessly between edgy tailoring and sultry evening dressing.
