Gigi Hadid literally pulled out all the traffic stops with her edgy take on business wear while filming for her latest Maybelline commercial in New York City on Tuesday.
Since 2015, Hadid has represented Maybelline as an ambassador, starring in numerous eye-catching advertising campaigns and commercials for the cosmetics brand. Judging by her wardrobe selections for her most recent commercial shoot, I’m sure her next campaign won’t disappoint.
Gigi Hadid Flaunts Abs in a Cropped Blazer Suit
Posing in the busy streets of NYC, Hadid was decked out in a black cropped blazer, a white shirt, and baggy trousers. While this may sound like typical modern office attire, Hadid’s business ensemble is far from ordinary.
Her boxy crop blazer featured an asymmetrical belted hem, highlighting her flat abs and enhancing the look’s tough-chic edge. Its strong, defined shoulders also gave the look a manly, girl-boss vibe.
Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend wore a clean white shirt underneath with a buttoned collar and was cropped to the same length as her blazer, which I found interesting.

The bottom part of Hadid’s ensemble included baggy trousers that hung below her navel. The outfit was styled with a slim leather belt looped around a large, gold-tone, oval-shaped buckle.
Nobody can pull this off better than Hadid; it flawlessly embodies her signature edgy, sophisticated aesthetic.
She completed the look by wrapping her long model legs in black stockings and matching them with black pointed-toe heels. I have to say that I agree with how she styled her look, sticking with basic shoes to highlight her statement suit.

A pair of gold hoop earrings and several rings brought additional glitz to her campaign photoshoot.
She wore her shoulder-length blonde bob in chic, messy waves, and her features were accentuated—no less—with Maybelline makeup. She looked radiant with her soft smokey eyeshadow, peachy blush, mauve lipstick, and mascara.

Mixing Feminine and Edgy Pieces
Later, Gigi Hadid changed out of her edgy business suit and into another workwear-inspired ensemble. She did, however, have on a fluffy pink jacket in place of a professional blazer, which I find interesting. It gave Hadid’s business wear a sophisticated yet laid-back vibe.
She layered the thick, hooded furry pink jacket over gray workwear, which consisted of a vest top with a plunging v-neckline and tonal front buttons.

Zayn Malik’s ex wore a pair of balloon-fit high-waisted slacks in the same dark gray fabric for the bottom part. She left her stockings on for extra warmth and slid her feet into light gray velvet pumps with asymmetrical vamps and kitten heels.
Hadid kept her neck unadorned, wearing the same gold hoops and rings.

Compared to the first outfit, I think this one is far more wearable. I also think the combination of pink and gray is stylish and trendy.
I would unquestionably pick this one if I had to choose between the two. What about you?
