Gwyneth Paltrow opted for a simple look at the LA premiere of her new film, ‘Thanks for Sharing’. She looked incredibly sleek and sophisticated in a pure white Lanvin dress that features pockets and a flared edge, which she wore with strappy Nicholas Kirkwood sandals. But something just didn’t seem quite right.

The American actress, singer, and food writer seemed to be missing the pop of print and color that she was seen wearing earlier this year at the Paris premiere of ‘Iron Man 3’. In fact, the only pop in her entire ensemble was her red lipstick.

The Oscar-winning actress, who turns 41 later this month, not only saved her uninspiring look but also kept the minimal trend going by accessorizing with her shoes. Her Nicholas Kirkwood platform sandals are from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection and were the only exciting part of Gwyneth’s outfit. These shoes are a combination of monochrome stripes, suede ankle straps, and leather platforms, and they make a great addition to any basic look.

‘Thanks for Sharing’ is a “dramedy” that focuses on the lives of obsessive characters. Gwyneth herself seems to have taken the title of the movie to heart as she has enjoyed sharing a lot of personal details during her recent talk show appearances on ‘Chelsea Lately’ and ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’. Here is the trailer for ‘Thanks for Sharing’, which is due to be released on September 20:
