On May 17, a new American Idol winner was announced, but not before a star-studded red carpet event at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live for the Finale Results Show.
Several celebrities and former Idol contestants showed up in their best attire, with three stars standing out in their unique boots: the pregnant Tamar Braxton, fourth-place finisher of Season 12 Amber Holcomb, and AI judge Nicki Minaj.

According to Nicki Minaj, this look was “chill and comfortable.”
The “Super Bass” songstress said it was her vibe for the day as she had a lot of errands to do. She said she had just come from a rehearsal and would be doing a photo shoot right after the finale.

Her outfit was indeed a bit casual. She was just in jeans with a cropped top that she styled with a cool black jacket. What made her look eye-catching was her Christian Louboutin boots.
Although the outfit was somewhat unexpected since we’re used to seeing her in more controversial ensembles, her boots made the look a definite head-turner.

They seem to be made of suede and are entirely covered in silver-tone spikes. I’m unsure if these are from Christian Louboutin, but they look a lot like Louboutins. Can you ID them?

3. Tamar Braxton in Giuseppe Zanotti Peep-Toe Booties
Coming from a family of singers, it is no surprise to see Tamar Braxton at the finale of the singing competition.
She looked fab in a black-and-white ensemble that showed off her baby bump. And despite her growing tummy, Tamar chose to wear a pair of stiletto Giuseppe Zanotti booties.
