On a cold afternoon in New York City on January 22, 2021, Irina Shayk demonstrated how to balance high-end outerwear with the practicalities of a city walk.

While her runway career is defined by high fashion, her off-duty choices often lean into textured layering and substantial footwear suited for the Manhattan pavement.

For this outing with her daughter, Lea De Seine, Shayk chose a heavy leather-and-shearling combination paired with utilitarian Chelsea boots.

She wore a long brown leather coat from The Mannei ($3,800), a label founded by Sara Boruc Mannei. The “Jordan” coat features a classic silhouette with shearling trims and a contrasting light-colored lining for added warmth.

Underneath the leather, Shayk opted for a saturated yellow knit set from Live the Process. The ensemble consisted of the “Marl” cardigan and matching flare pants, which feature slit cuffs and yarn-covered buttons.

Her accessories coordinated with the knitwear, including a yellow By Far “Cush” leather shoulder bag ($540).

She also wore butterfly hoop earrings from Eden’s Edge Boutique and two Jennifer Meyer necklaces, including the Edith Link ($2,250) and a white gold diamond baguette cross.

To round out the look, she wore rectangular sunglasses, a dark green face mask, and a simple headband to keep her hair back.

The focal point of the outfit’s practical side was the Acacia flatform Chelsea boots by Italian footwear label Maria Luca.

These boots are constructed from smooth black calfskin and feature traditional elasticated side panels and rear pull tabs.

The design is distinguished by olive green inlays and a 1.75-inch flatform lug sole, providing height without the instability of a traditional heel on city grates and cobblestones.
