Jennifer Lawrence’s style has always been unpredictable—sometimes understated, other times daring, but never dull. And that’s what makes her fun to watch on the red carpet.

At the London and Rome premieres of her upcoming film, Die, My Love, she showcased two unique looks that couldn’t have been more different. One was experimental and modern, dressed in head-to-toe Dior, while the other was classy and sultry in Armani Prive and Aquazzura.

Die, My Love is a psychological black comedy-drama that follows Grace (Jennifer Lawrence), a young mother battling postpartum depression while navigating marriage and isolation in Montana with her partner Jackson (Robert Pattinson). The film, based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Ariana Harwicz, will be released in US theaters on November 7.

Fittingly, Jennifer’s recent red-carpet looks seemed to mirror her character’s emotional duality, part bold, part fragile. Let’s check out her outfits in more detail.

Experimental Dior Look Straight from the Runway

At the Rome Film Festival premiere of Die, My Love, J.Law embraced her experimental side, wearing a complete Dior look designed by Jonathan Anderson for his debut Women’s Ready-to-Wear collection for Spring 2026. The ensemble, which was cozy on top and dreamy on the bottom, was unexpected, but that’s precisely why I liked it.

Lawrence arrived at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica during the 20th Rome Film Festival wearing a cozy gray-brown cashmere sweater with black satin trims at the plunging V-neckline and cuffs. The draped collar fell effortlessly over her shoulders, creating a relaxed, slightly undone modern look. In contrast to the rest of her ensemble, the oversized fit gave her an easygoing, off-duty vibe.

Instead of pairing her sweater with something as relaxed, Jennifer styled it with a white tulle maxi skirt, making the look worthy of the red carpet. The skirt was pure romance, made of tulle and dotted with subtle polka dots. It featured a soft, double bubble-tier design that gave it volume and movement, while a black ribbon running down one side separated the tiers and somehow complemented the darker tones of her sweater. I loved how the skirt floated as she walked, creating a dreamy, ethereal feel.

Some might call the pairing awkward, but to me, it was fresh and creative. The contrast between textures made it visually interesting!

Polished Details: Sparkling Jewelry, Effortless Beauty, and Feathered Dior Pumps

When it came to accessories, Jennifer opted for subtle sparkle, wearing a Jessica McCormack Diamond Tripset Hoops, made with a mix of round brilliant-cut and carre-cut diamonds in a blackened white gold and yellow gold. She paired these earrings with an Otiumberg Pave Double Ear Cuff set with 35 topaz stones and the Sophie Buhai Onyx Bagel Ear Cuff. Her diamond-framed Longines Primaluna Moonphase silver watch and custom Alison Lou engagement ring completed her accessories.

Jennifer’s hair was styled in a casual, messy bun, with soft, wispy bangs framing her face. I loved how natural her beauty looked, wearing just a sweep of mascara to accentuate her blue eyes and a pop of deep red lipstick to add a touch of color to her otherwise neutral ensemble.

To complete her outfit, Lawrence slipped into a pair of Dior pumps from the same Dior collection. These weren’t your typical pumps; they added a touch of edge and a dramatic, avant-garde element to her look!

The pumps featured high vamps covered in what seemed to be black feathers, giving them a texture that contrasted with the soft tulle of her skirt. They also had pointed toes, high backs, and slim heels that gave Jennifer extra height.

Femme Fatale in Armani Prive Black Gown and Aquazzura Heels

A few days earlier, Jennifer Lawrence was in London for the BFI London Film Festival premiere of Die, My Love. This time, she traded her whimsical style for a femme fatale look, arriving at The Royal Festival Hall in a black Armani Prive gown that looked straight out of a 1940s Hollywood movie.

She channeled pure Hollywood allure in the simple yet stunning black gown. It featured a velvet halter bodice with a plunging neckline and an open back, flowing seamlessly into a silk floor-length skirt that pooled at her feet. The silhouette hugged her frame perfectly, giving her that old-school movie-star glamour. Against her fair complexion, the gown looked dramatic and timeless.

At one point, J.Law layered the gown with a Conner Ives Fall 2025 floral silk jacket, which she later removed to reveal the gown in its full glory. The gown itself was a reimagined version of a 2005 Armani Prive design. The original had a deeper neckline accented with a 3D flower appliqué at the waist.

Diamond Details and Aquazzura “You & I” Sandals Complete the Look

To elevate her black ensemble, Jennifer accessorized with a Glenn Spiro Diamond Torque necklace, featuring a hammered gold collar with a long pendant set with seven brilliant-cut diamonds, framed by round gold beads, and finished with an oblong gold bauble. She paired it with earrings and rings, including her engagement ring and a Yi Collection Pyramid Large Ring.

Jennifer wore her hair straight, with soft bangs that framed her face, giving her a hint of Brigitte Bardot energy. Her makeup was also classic, featuring bold eyeliner, subtle blush, and red lipstick that perfectly complemented her pale skin and black dress.

Finishing Lawrence’s ensemble were the Aquazzura “You and I” sandals in black suede. Crafted in Italy, these sandals featured thin, curved straps that intertwined across the toes, complemented by a buckled ankle strap. Set on 4-inch heels, they subtly boosted her frame while keeping the gown’s sleek lines.
