If there’s one celebrity who had the best 2019, it’s Jennifer Lopez. She celebrated her 50th birthday last year, got engaged to Alex Rodriguez, was honored with the Fashion Icon Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards, starred in the critically acclaimed blockbuster Hustlers, and scored a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the comedy crime drama movie.

While J.Lo clearly had an amazing 2019, it seems like she’ll have an even better 2020 ahead.

Twenty-two years after her first Golden Globe nomination, Jennifer Lopez is poised to hit the Golden Globe red carpet once again this Sunday as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Hustlers.

On Thursday, J.Lo received her first award for this year—the Spotlight Award—during the 31st Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival held at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California.

To kick off the awards season, J.Lo dressed for success in a feminine floral gown from London-based designer Richard Quinn’s Spring 2020 collection. She seldom wears floral dresses, so this was quite refreshing.

She looked beautiful with her hair styled in a voluminous bun, courtesy of hairstylist Chris Appleton. To accentuate her features, makeup artist Scott Barnes applied dramatic makeup.

It included dark pink eyeshadow to match her gown, long lashes, dark eyeliner, blush on, and nude lipstick. She also had her nails done in pink by celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik.

She accessorized her regal look with floral-shaped diamond and emerald earrings from Vivid Diamonds & Jewelry and a couple of diamond rings from Djula.

Her pastel pink Tyler Ellis pouch and matching Casadei pumps rounded out her ensemble. Fashion stylist and costume designer Rob Zangardi masterminded J.Lo’s look.

She balanced on a pair of pink suede ‘Flamingo’ pumps, which feature pointed toes and about 5-inch stiletto heels.

Her fiancé Alex Rodriguez accompanied her on the red carpet. He looked dapper in a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie underneath.

Fashion-wise, we can say that this is an amazing start for J.Lo, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
