Are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Heading for Divorce?
Her latest red carpet appearance comes on the heels of a rumor that she’s divorcing Ben Affleck. The couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and wed in 2022, hasn’t been spotted together in public for a while, except for the one occasion over the weekend when they put on a united front to attend their kids’ event.
J.Lo even graced the Met Gala steps solo this year, fueling divorce speculations. Rumor has it that Affleck and Lopez have been living apart while Ben is filming The Accountant 2.
However, during the Atlas premiere, J.Lo was still seen wearing her wedding band.

An Elegant but Typical Movie Premiere Ensemble
Though it goes without saying that Jennifer Lopez is naturally attractive and sophisticated, I’m not always in awe of her red-carpet selections.
The press tour for her latest movie, Atlas, has been a rollercoaster of fashion triumphs and disappointments. Although her recent appearance was elegant, it was just another case of “been there, done that,” in my opinion.
She looks stunning, I give her that, but I find the white top and black skirt combination so ordinary that they almost seem uninteresting.

Anyway, I like that it enhances Lopez’s enviably toned physique. Her muscular arms were on full display in the strapless white top, which she paired with a flowing black skirt from Greta Constantine’s Resort 2024 collection.
The Maid in Manhattan star wore the plain white “Legance” crop top with the black “Amesis” mermaid skirt, which appeared to be made of jersey. The skirt fit snugly through the hips and had silk satin ruffles that flared at the knees.
I like how well it fits J.Lo’s physique; she has never looked so toned.
In a recent interview with Live with Kelly and Mark, J.Lo revealed she’s “the thinnest [she’s] ever been” after finishing an upcoming movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman, “where it was all singing and dancing, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting as well.”

Opulent Jewelry to Match the Sophisticated Outfit
Despite the simplicity of the ensemble, I adore how Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi accessorized it with opulent jewelry designed by Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
They fastened the “Ilena” necklace around her neck, which showcased Indian craftsmanship and artistry with a trillion-cut diamond array and finely cut 165-carat emeralds.

The This Is Me…Now actress wore matching emerald and diamond earrings on her ears, and her immaculately manicured hands were adorned with a stunning emerald and diamond ring and her wedding band.
Although her shoes were hidden from view, I could imagine that a pair of black pumps or strappy sandals would complement her ensemble.
The “Claribel” clutch from the Italian brand Rodo had her necessities on the red carpet. It was made of croc-embossed suede, and its distinctive shape and gold accent flawlessly complemented her outfit’s elegance.

Classic Glam and Intricate Bun
J. Lo opted for a classic glam look with makeup expert Mary Phillips’ assistance. She used peachy blush to accentuate her cheekbones and dramatic eyeliner, mascara, and subtle smoky eyeshadow to emphasize her light brown eyes. A swipe of nude lip gloss rounded out her beauty look.
Regarding her hair, Jesus Guerrero elegantly styled her honey locks into a tidy bun that was completed with beautiful swirls.

Monochromatic Cream-Colored Look for Jimmy Kimmel
Just hours before the premiere, J.Lo was pictured outside the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Studios ahead of her appearance on the show to promote her new Netflix movie.
She looked chic in a cream-colored halter dress for the interview, but she layered with a matching coat as soon as she left the building.

Despite the split rumors, the couple attended a family event separately on Sunday, May 19, in Brentwood, California, but left together in Ben’s car. Both were spotted wearing their wedding bands and it’s the first time they’ve been seen out together since March 30th.
Jennifer Lopez’s outfit at the event included a Dior trench coat, a Dior Mini Lady Dior bag in pine green patent cannage calfskin, Chloe 0046 octagonal sunglasses in gold, and Christian Louboutin lace-up boots.
