Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler packed on the PDA as they walked the red carpet for this year’s Time100 Gala, where Butler was among the awardees as one of the most influential figures of 2023.
The It couple cozied up as they posed for photographs on the red carpet, with their arms lovingly wrapped around each other. They weren’t shy about showing affection for one another as they locked eyes and even shared a kiss in front of the cameras.

21-year-old Kaia Gerber looked effortlessly chic in a gray knit wool turtleneck dress from Khaite, which featured a sleeveless design and a fitted silhouette. The pleated drop skirt gave it a striking detail and gave us a glimpse of her pointy-toe heels.
Her hair was parted in the center and fell in soft waves around her shoulders. Mikimoto jewelry rounded out her understated look and added a touch of sparkle.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Austin Butler looked dapper in a classic black suit. It featured a double-breasted silhouette, straight-leg trousers, a skinny black tie that matched his satin lapels, and a crisp white dress shirt.
He completed his outfit with black leather boots, a bit of stubble, and his signature artfully messy hair.

Since Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler were linked to one another, the couple has been inseparable.
They recently smoldered on the blue carpet in coordinating looks at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Last year, they also packed on the PDA at the Elvis premiere during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
This time, Kaia Gerber showed her support by accompanying her boyfriend, Austin Butler, to the Time100 Gala. Butler was among those named as one of Time magazine’s most influential people after successfully breaking into the scene as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in the Elvis Presley biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann.

In the special issue of Time magazine honoring the 100 Most Influential People of 2023, Butler’s fellow Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett wrote about the first time she met the Elvis star:
“The first time I met Austin Butler, we were both starting to find our grooves in what promised to be a busy awards season. We connected in a fleeting moment, one of many when we would share a hug and warm words. Despite all that swirled around him, Austin opened his heart to new friends. I was fortunate to be one of them.”
Bassett also acknowledged the “brilliantly nuanced performance” that Butler put into his work as Elvis Presley in the film. “I watched Elvis with a deep appreciation for all the work I knew Austin put into his performance.”

She went on to recount the moment they shared during this year’s Academy Awards: “On the evening of the Oscars, with Austin seated next to me, I understood intimately what he felt when it was time to learn if he would climb those stairs to the stage. So, I took his hand and held it softly as the winner was announced.”
“Although his name wasn’t called, Austin is no less a winner,” Bassett continued. “The time had come for Austin to say goodbye to Elvis as he began to embrace an infinite universe of possibilities as an actor.”
Angela Bassett concluded, “I can’t wait to see what he brings us next.”
