The huge hand-turned-monster paw tattoo is dedicated to her Little Monster fans who “hold their paws up in the air” during Lady Gaga’s live performances. It is decked out in lace and beads.

Lady Gaga also has a banner tattoo reading “dad” on her left shoulder that is a tribute to her father. She got this tattoo shortly after Joe Germanotta had successful open heart surgery after struggling with a heart condition for many years. She also wrote the song “Speechless”, from her third EP, “The Fame Monster”, as a plea for him to get the surgery.
