Lea Michele and her longtime BFF and former Broadway co-star Jonathan Groff are starring in the HBO feature documentary, Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known, set to debut on the network on May 3.
The documentary is about the Spring Awakening original Broadway reunion concert held in November 2021.
It will feature behind-the-scenes moments of the original cast and creative team, as well as performances from the reunion concert, newly filmed interviews, and footage from the original production.

Lea Michele and Jonathan played lovers in the Tony Award-winning Broadway show. Looking back at their 15-year-friendship, the Scream Queens star revealed in the documentary that she once had feelings for Jonathan before he came out as gay.
On Monday, the 35-year-old actress set the internet ablaze after news broke that she gave Jonathan an anatomy lesson in the past, according to People.

“Jonathan and I became so close. We were so intertwined,” she said in the documentary. Lea Michele added, “At one point, I literally showed him my whole vagina,” to which Jonathan replied, “I can confirm that.”
“He was like, ‘I’ve never seen a woman’s vagina before. Would you show me?’ And I was like, ‘Sure.’ And I took a desk lamp… and showed him. That’s how close we are… But I’ve never seen Jonathan naked. I’ve never seen his penis.”

The 37-year-old actor looked neat in a navy-blue suit, a black crewneck tee, and a pair of dark brown dress shoes.

Meanwhile, the mom-of-one stole the spotlight in a black Jason Wu Collection maxi dress that clung perfectly to her toned frame.
Showing a glimpse of her high-waisted bikini-style underwear, the semi-sheer dress features a cleavage-baring plunging v-neckline that cascades into an intricate pointelle-knit bodice and skirt. You can get it for $1,395 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Although her shoes were not visible, the Glee alum reportedly paired her maxi dress with Jimmy Choo heels, selected by her stylist Brian Meller.
She kept the look classic with minimal jewelry from New York-based fine jewelry designer Melissa Kaye, including a pair of $3,950 Lola Needle small earrings in black diamond and a few statement rings.
Makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez enhanced Lea Michele’s beauty with warm pink makeup, smokey eyeshadow, and fake lashes, while hairstylist DJ Quintero pulled her brunette tresses into a slicked-back low ponytail with voluminous curls cascading down her back.
