Ever dreamed of owning an outfit that your favorite celebrity has worn? While you can easily get your hands on some street-style looks, particularly outfits from fast-fashion retailers, getting their red-carpet looks seems less attainable.
With Chic Relief, however, you now have the chance to purchase some iconic red carpet outfits. It is a new charity that helps fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The nonprofit was created by celebrity stylist and fashion editor Elizabeth Stewart and a confederation of stylists.
On May 17, Chic Relief partnered with eBay for a charity fashion auction that will benefit Direct Relief in providing Personal Protective Equipment or PPEs to front line health workers around the world. In addition, eBay will match each dollar, up to $1 million, raised from the auction.

One of the designers who joined Chic Relief’s initiative is Lebanese fashion designer Georges Chakra. The international haute couture fashion house is auctioning off the electric pink couture gown he designed for Jennifer Lopez in 2018.

The starting bid for J.Lo’s Georges Chakra couture creation is $1,000. It’s now up for grabs until Wednesday, May 27, at 4 PM PT.

Other donated outfits up for the auction include a gown by DSquared2 worn by Julia Roberts, a Christian Siriano dress worn by Debra Messing, a Mary Katrantzou gown worn by Cate Blanchett, a replica of the custom Azzi & Osta gown worn by Beyonce, a hand-beaded Yousef Aljasmi catsuit worn by Cardi B, and a lot more.
