Blocking Out Negativity: Miley Cyrus Explains the Meaning Behind Her ‘LOVE’ Ear Tattoo
Miley Cyrus explained that her ‘LOVE’ tattoo on the inside of her right ear is a reminder to block out negativity and focus on the love from genuine people. She emphasized the importance of ignoring irrelevant criticism and concentrating on positivity, despite the reported pain of getting an ear tattoo.
“I have ‘Love’ right here to block out all the crap that everyone throws into your ears…I don’t really care about it. [You’re] only supposed to hear the things coming from the people that genuinely love you,” she told Access about her “LOVE” tattoo on the inside of her right ear.
“There’s so much negativity in the world and what you only need to hear is all the love. People try to say to me, ‘I just heard someone say this or that about you,’ and I just ignore it because it’s irrelevant. Love is what makes the world go around, and that’s all we need to focus on,” she revealed to E! News about her ear tattoo. Getting your ears inked can reportedly be an extremely painful experience.
