From martial-arts elegance in Charlie’s Angels to couture sophistication on the red carpet, Lucy Liu has always embodied a rare blend of strength and grace.

Whether attending premieres, celebrating career milestones, or walking alongside her son at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, the actress continues to merge power, polish, and personality through fashion.

Below, we revisit some of Lucy Liu’s most memorable style moments — from her Peter Pilotto floral gown to her Alexandre Vauthier couture ensemble and timeless Mary Jane heels — each look reflecting her signature balance of poise and playfulness.

Hollywood Honor: Lucy Liu Radiates in Peter Pilotto Floral Gown with Son Rockwell

Rockwell Lloyd Liu, Lucy Liu’s son, was born via gestational carrier on August 27, 2015, and joined his mother at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in May 2019. The name of his father is not known.

Wearing a one-shoulder floral-print silk-blend maxi dress from Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2019 collection, she was joined by Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Demi Moore, Rana Ghadban, Rhea Perlman, and American politician Mitch O’Farrell.

Charlie’s Angels Reunited in Style: From Bohemian Glam to Bold Couture

Each Charlie’s Angels alum brought her own fashion personality to Lucy Liu’s Walk of Fame ceremony. Drew Barrymore leaned into her bohemian roots with a flowing Etro Spring 2019 silk maxi dress featuring fluid zebra-print sleeves and gold statement earrings.

Lucy Liu embraced soft femininity in a floral one-shoulder Peter Pilotto gown that balanced vibrant hues with graceful draping.

Demi Moore went bold in red Christian Louboutin pumps paired with a geometric black, white, and red Marco de Vincenzo dress with a plunging neckline. At the same time, Cameron Diaz, ever the minimalist, kept it relaxed yet polished in a white long coat, brown blouse, and classic blue jeans.

The Sweet Story Behind Lucy Liu’s Son Rockwell’s Name

“I was on location and Rockwell was the name of a store. At the time, I remember thinking, ‘That’s a really great name,’ and I kept it in the back of my mind,” Liu told Today in July 2022 about the meaning behind her son’s name.

“I know a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, that’s a surname.’ But I think sometimes surnames are stronger than first names.”

“When he was 4, he corrected somebody. He said, ‘My name is Rockwell,’” she added about her son Rockwell Lloyd Liu, who turned seven on August 27, 2022. “But I’m sure by the time he’s in high school, people will be calling him all kinds of names.”
