We never realized Mandy Moore had bunionettes until we saw her in the shoes she chose to wear to the NBC and Universal EMMY nominee celebration held at Tesse restaurant in Hollywood today.

Mandy’s custom Proenza Schouler ankle-strap mules had closed pointy toes that cut off right at the protruding lumps along the outsides of her little toes. The edges must’ve been chaffing against her foot deformities the whole night, which caused them to turn an attention-getting shade of swollen red.

While we don’t think Mandy’s bunionettes can be included in our list of 23 ugly celebrity feet with corns and jacked-up hammer toes yet, we do think she should avoid shoes like these from now on.

We’ve also got tips for Mandy on how to treat and prevent bony and lumpy foot deformities before they get any worse.

It’s too bad our focus is on Mandy’s foot flaws because she actually did look so stylish that night.

The 35-year-old singer-slash-actress was chic in a Proenza Schouler Fall 2019 RTW dress color-blocked in shades of black, white, and dark gold. She matched the geometry with a Carolina Santo Domingo ‘Eva’ box bag ($825 at Saks Fifth Avenue) and added some sparkle with Anita Ko jewelry.

About a month earlier, Mandy experimented with a menswear-inspired style in a Ralph Lauren Collection white tuxedo suit at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2019/2020.

For her shoes, she chose Tabitha Simmons ‘Rise’ bow slingback pumps in the Top Color of the Summer, hot pink.

We love how Mandy paired her lipstick to her shoes’ hue, which really tied her whole look together.

Back in May, Mandy was in a much darker fashion mood and wore an edgy Dundas belted leather dress to Entertainment Weekly & People’s Upfronts party.

On her feet were Christian Louboutin ‘514’ satin ankle-strap sandals, which were also worn by Paris Jackson.
